Not physically (I can’t help much with that). I'm talking academically taller. I’m dedicated to helping my students accomplish goals they thought were out of reach through one-on-one online and in-person tutoring. See my areas of expertise below!
MATH
Got a student who is struggling in class? Have a big test coming up soon? Or are you just hoping to get the fast track on that dream STEM career? From counting to calculus, math can make sense if it is explained and understood properly.
SAT & ACT PREP
If getting a high score on the SAT or ACT is important to you, then take a step toward reaching that goal. I’m a high scorer on both tests, and I have the two skills it takes to help others score high too: I can teach the high school concepts AND the weird ways standardized tests try to get inside your head.
ASVAB TEST PREP
Were you surprised when you learned you have to remember algebra and geometry to get into the United States military? Especially if you’ve been out of school for a while, the ASVAB can pose a major challenge, but I have the experience, knowledge, and teaching skills to move you closer to your ASVAB and career goals.
AP/REGENTS PREP
Care to join the students who report significantly higher test scores after working with me? I’m happy to help you get ready for a wide variety of high school subject tests.
ENGLISH
Even though I spend a lot of time doing math, I’m actually a Literature major. I love teaching literature, reading comprehension, grammar rules, and writing for many skill levels.

HEAD AND SHOULDERS ABOVE THE REST
In college, I worked with a nationally recognized math tutoring company for two and a half years, and I have been tutoring subjects like math, English, and test prep independently for more than five years now.
I hear the same comment from students, parents, and my boss at the tutoring center: what's unique about me is my ability to recognize a trouble spot, slow down, and make it super clear - clear enough to make students say, "I wish my teacher had said it just like that!" According to my students, learning with me makes sense.
RESULTS
